Barcelona Zoo Tickets & Prices

Set right in the heart of Barcelona at Ciutadella Park, Barcelona Zoo houses over 300 species of mammals, reptiles and birds, some rare and endangered, and is an ideal family day out. Children can pet the animals in the Barcelona Zoo Children’s area where they also have pony rides.

There are plenty of shady areas for picnics and a small train to transport you around the enclosures whilst electric cars can also be hired.

Located in what is known as the 'green lung' of the centre of Barcelona, the Zoo first opened its gates in 1892. It is home to 2,000 animals from over 300 species. The Zoo's facilities reproduce the natural habitat of the animal species that live in it.

The Aviary contains birds from tropical forests all over the world, while 'Land of Dragons' offers the chance to see the Komodo dragon.
